Poolewe too Kinlochewe, Day 1

Ive been "into Fisherfield" a few times so when Lee asked about a trip there,i had no hesitation in saying lets go in by Poolewe and out via Gleann Bianasdail.I spent some time on the computer and got a number for a taxi (07733028477 HY taxis) arrived promptly at the agreed time, and so we left the car at Kinlochewe and traveled to Poolewe.£50 cash for the journey was money well spent

The river Ewe was looking just as good as the weather

Its a great walk in with a view to die for, leading you onwards

You can see the famous Causeway below us on the left

The last time i traveled this way the Fuar Loch Mor was frozen, but not today it was 26c at its warmest but a nice light head wind made it nice

The map showed a high stream at 850m not far from our planned camp spot, luckily it was running and lovely and cold too

This trip was my first with the MLD Exodus and i have to say it carried superbly,a pair of Treadlite Pauls pocket the icing on the pack  (We had met Paul briefly in Pitlochry on the way up ! nice fella )

The pitch was ok ish !

The views were stunning
